The fine Arts program is divided into four categories: Dance, Music Dram and Visual Arts.
Dance will be included in Physical Education.
In Music, students will learn the elements of rhythm and melody. They will learn culture through different French music.
In Drama, the students will learn to express verbal and non-verbal communication. They will explore interacting roles. They will use dramatic structure to develop stories that present problems and solutions. They will demonstrate individual responsibility within the group when developing dramatic work and apply audience skills appropriate to a variety of presentations.
In Visual Arts, students will describe various image-development and design strategies. They will compare the styles of different artists, defend their preferences and demonstrate respect for their work and the work of others. They will differentiate, compare and analyze the use of elements and principles in their work.
